Lady Royale's Character Guide

Power & History:

Maeve Nora Cromwell, the darker and most unusual. The 'Black Sheep' of the Cromwell Clan one might say. She's unique in many ways, being the only one of the sisters to dabble in what's known as some of the darker magics of Irish lore.This was brought on to her from birth, as she is the only one in the clan who shares a bloodline with that of the Celtic goddess of War; Morrighan.

She was, due to this reluctant to completely delve into that of what she was capable of knowing the history of this feared Celtic goddess but; still she kept herself training, determined not to fear the power within her but learn to control it and use it to help protect her family and her home.

Though she was unaware this also made her more susceptible to that of the power and pull of the Blood Stone that turned Deidre into Dorianne and caused the war within there beloved Shirian home.
When Luna separated the clan to protect the line, Maeve ended up traveling quite a bit and eventually was recruited by an agency to be part of a highly trained and skilled team consisting of herself, a man by the name of Dorian and none other then her own sister; Belle. However, it seemed due to something happening between when she found Belle and the separation; Belle’s entire memory of the Shire and there family had been- erased...Or blocked; by magic or technology of which Maeve was not sure.

She grew very close to her teammate Belle; and ended up in a rather heated relationship with that of her other partner; Dorian.

Dorian was charming, smooth and everything you would think one could want in a partner & a lover. Though Belle admittedly never entirely trusted him; it turned out Belle however was right to distrust him...As he had not just been against the both of them from the beginning; He was working under Dorieanne's lead, more so he was one of her little 'clan' she had created to help her find and hunt down that of the clan she had once been a part of before the blood-stone had changed her; of course Maeve was unaware of how she was being used at the time.. Dorian had her under some kind of mind control; caused her to turn on the agency as well as Belle...Belle, however figured it out and tried to stop it only to be burned by Maeve and Dorian whilst she was still under his control… The worst part; however wasn't even Belle. No, the worst was that Dorian, turned Maeve on her own sisters...Under his complete control she went in after her own kin and attacked her sister Luna. This led to an intense battle; Maeve was not holding back and hitting her with everything she had even while Luna was trying to break through...The battle lasted hours until Luna was at her end; Vanora nearly finished the job but stopped...Just before she made the last blow; freezing and dropping her blade she couldn't believe what it had almost done... Without hesitation she ran out; ignoring the calls from her sister...She hasn't been back since; spending her time wandering, learning cultures and such....

Maeve had been ‘taken in’ by Frigga after finding her not too long on the run from her endeavor of her sisters...Maeve, reluctantly opened up and told the sweet woman her story only to be brought to Asgard to watch over her own two beloved sons; Loki and Thor. She could, in some senses see why Thor was the favorite but Maeve had taken a near instant liking much stronger to Loki, not that she ever ignored Thor when he needed her- she was happy to watch them grow into the incredible men they were...Though as time passed Maeve found herself being pulled more and more toward the dark haired mischievous prince Loki; and realized soon that it was much more than a love between nanny and child...No, Maeve was in love with Loki; and Frigga knew this….

Follows same idea as before but takes place during the fall of Asgard when Loki is trapped in his Cell; Maeve refuses to leave him behind and gets him out as the castle is coming down; many options on how this can play out; completely up to us
